Well I decided I should keep track of what happens in my bird's lives. So much does and so much that I forget. SeeMe is sitting on my shoulder as I write.
I drove to Lake Oswego- Avian Medical Center to pick up Junior's ashes today. I loved him so much. The house just is not the same without his great big personality. I miss my well adjusted man-bird.![]()
Sam, Ash, and Kermit were out of their cages for the lenght of the movie Wargames 2.
Kermit just hangs out on his cage and does his own thing. Every time I go by I rub his beak.
Sam decided to fly over and visit Ash. They did a little gentle beaking. Ash then decided that this was her house and what was he doing! I was standing right there and when she started getting more agressive I had Sam step up.
He said Goodnight! This means he wants to go back inside his house. I did just that and gave him kisses.
Ash is feeling more confident about playing outside her house. She has started to wander off into the kitchen or living room too.
Kermit is still out. The Greys are both back in their cages. Now SeeMe and Rocco are out.
I made a mash for everyone today. I used something with Almonds, Banana chips, brown rice, cinnamon, couscous, flaked coconut, millet, lentils, pasta, pearl barley, polenta, quinoa, raisins, oats, split peas, triticale flakes, wheat berries, whole flax and wild rice. To that I added a bag of frozen veggies. These were carrots, corn, green beans, lima beans, and peas.
I am feeling under the weather so they will get some tomorrow.
I am a little worried about Kermit. His foot fell asleep the other night and he fell off his perch. He let me rub it and then when it came back to life he tried to bite. He also threw up a couple weeks ago. I think he will be the first to the vet as soon as I make the money.
